Motorkhana!!!

Just because the autocross season is done and dusted, doenst mean we can forget about our cars for 6 months, there is a twighlight motorkhana being held on the 28th november in the souther carpark. check the site for details and make sure u read the regs carfully!!!! (as im sure we all do anyway)

What's with this Motorkhana event. I have got an old Datsun in the shed I would like to get out and have a race against someone. Is there an age limit to enter.

do we need helmet and fire extinguisher for the Motorkhana? i remember last time we didnt thats all, and im trying out my new beast which i dont have an extinguisher in yet.....

No Sally you do not need a helmet or extinguisher for this event. I hope your new beast is as good as the Hsv GTS that I am going to be racing. As for Oldbull if you can get and walk at your age we will let you run but I dought that you will get any where near Sally or Myself and the new weapons that we are going to run

Sounds like a challenge. Got the Datsun to start on Sunday so looking forward to showing the youngens how we used to do it in the good old days.

I am surprised that you can remember that far back also I herd a rumour that another old fart from the early days was out looking for a Autocross car today

hrmm well i dont know how the beast will go...... thats why i am testing it to see if i will use it for autocross next year. its smaller than the camry (which is not hard) so hopefully it will go good

Hey Sal, no matter what we're driving, so long as we are able to throw it around as hard as we like legally, throw up lots of gravel and dust, get the blood boiling and the hands are shaking when you get out after each run and it its always good, "Yaaaaahooooo ,bring on Saturday"

Hey Ron, Have anyone got lights organised for the timers tomorrow or do you need any. Is there a Barby or sausage sizzle etc arranged.

Will be using the canteen as for light if you have a spare bring it along

OMG what an awesome event!!!! i would say my most enjoyable this year!!! thanks to Ron for being my third arm for a few runs made a huge difference, and to Mal for taking me out with him and showing me some tricks of the trade.

wiked night, came down to watch and help, and show my cousin what its about, and got offered to drive rosco's car.. glad i did, was a great event and cheers to rosco for lettin me run and takin kieren out, he had a ball....
