Khanacross 19 april

Hi All
Just afew questions before the above mentioned event .

1 What exactly is Khanacross.
2 Can I join the club and get a CAMS liecence on the day or do I need to pull my finger out now .
3 Re Rons great old Corolla : How much rust is too much rust . My car is an old Datsun after all .

1: The khanacross is the same as Autocross except you have to stop in a garage. It will be on the Autocross track so you will get a feel of the track before the season starts.
2:Yes & yes. but it would probably be better for you if you pulled finger.
3: I have a Datsun too. They don't rust!! Nah structural rust is the main worry. Rons has been rusting away for 35 years untreated (or washed) & it is a Toyota
4: & Its about time you got that car out there!!!

Re; 4: The car and I are both itching to go . This will be my first oppotunity to use it since buying it in November last year . New harness is in , Fire extiguisher is stamped , blue triangle on , second throttle return spring on and i even give the wheels a bit of a polish yesterday . I have figgered out that i have been going to watch auto x for about 15 years so i recon you are partly right in that its about time I got out there !!!!

At least there will be 2 cars with class & distinction out there. But you would think there has to be more Datsun 1600's around.
