How to post pictures.

Step 1:
Navigate to imageshack - www.imageshack.us

Then click "browse" so you can browse your PC for the photo that you would like to upload.


Step 2:
Select your photo (double click it)


Step 3:
Host it! Click "Host it"


Step 4:
Select your method of hosting. If you highlight the link at the bottom of the page http: (direct link to image) it will host as the full complete image (not a thumbnail preview). Once you've highlighted the link of the method you want, right click and click copy (or you can just press CTRL+C)


Step 5:
If you would like to post a THUMBNAIL preview of your picture which people can click on and then be taken to the full view you can use this link.(located at the top half of the page (reading thumnail for forums 1)


Step 6:
Post your image in a forum! Below you can see the format needed to post a picture. Ever wondered what that "IMG" button up top is?( when you create a new PM,Thread Post) Well, this is what it's for.. When you've done it, click submit!

Sounds too technical for us geriatrics. Gonna have to write it all down just to try it out (half hour) Then throw the paper out, just to go thru it all over again next time! I reckon the old forum was easier!!

Once you do it once it's easy, because you will have an account already setup at imageshack and its not too bad after that.

From memory if you use http://tinypic.com/ you dont even need to create an account.. Just upload the image to tinypic, copy the link to here inbetween the [ img ] [ /img ] tags and its done.
