My 1600 club car
Hey
just a few pics and specs of my 1600 club car.
Is is located in victoria now but used to compete in SWTCC events.
It has quite a bit of history. Started out as a road car in busselton from 1969-1978. It was then converted to a group g rally car in 1979. Success was had in state rallies and was seen in the top 10 a few times. The car was crashed a few times and had a big rollover sometime in the 80's but was repaired quite well. It was then put into storage untill i bought it in 2006.

balanced bottom end
datrally manifold
45mm webers
baffled sump
lightened flywheel
l6 clutch
driveline
bluebird 5 speed
4.1 subaru clutch pack R160 lsd
Suspension and brakes
200b struts
kyb shocks
240z twin spot calipers
adjustable radius rods
extended lower control arms
240k king springs
r31 rear disks and calipers
has a 6 point alloy cage, a steel cage is planned in the future

Doing wat a 1600 is ment to do "driving flat out in a motorkana"

this is how it looks now after a paint job and some 15x7" rims. It has just got back from an outing at philip island. Went well but suffered from a lot of front brake fade. Might be time for some bigger brakes
